Trying to lose holiday pounds can be tough, especially when you work a lot of hours like me and have a bad back-this helps me monitor my steps. I have set goals at various increments and this helps me maintain as I adjust to the added walking. If walking is your thing-you will like this. And a good value!

Great pedometer. Comes with attached clasp, no need to buy one separately. Easy to use, discreet, I’m getting more steps in thanks to keeping track!

A pedometer is supposed to count your steps. This device counted one out of three so I returned it for a refund. This item is a piece of junk.

The Yamax Digiwalker 701 or 801 in my studied opinion is very accurate, the most important feature in making this choice. The New Lifestyles models I consider more accurate ( NL 1000 for example ) but for the quality of the product, for the purchase price, its accuracy and number of onboard features, this pedometer is an excellent choice.

I don’t know what the other reviewers were injesting, but this is the worst pedometer I’ve ever used. My wife bought it for me not knowing I already had one. Even so, I thought I’d give it a go. It came with a helpful guide to determine your goals and step length. I filled it out then went to program it. The “helpful” guide had no programing directions! I’m good with gadgets, so I did figure out the simple functions. If you want simple, this is it! Simple as in STUPID. While the calculations called for a step lenght of 2.4, this only goes in quarter increments, not tenths! Still I tried it out and guess what? There’s no way I could accurately measure my steps. The clip was a joke and for this price, should include a strap. Furthermore, the lid was difficult to open. See the pretty graph on the lid? NOT THERE! Rather, I found a non-removable sticker regarding website support information and repairs.
The only information I needed was how to return this, and it’s going back to Amazon tomorrow. For a far better value, and resolution of the many issues mentioned above, I’ll stick to my previously purchased Sportline 350 Pedometer. BTW, my Sportline is NOT the one here on Amazon. Mine is about 5 years old and I don’t think it’s manufactured any longer.
Maybe it can be found elsewhere.
